The MVMFA is proud to promote charitable giving! Leading by example, every year the MVMFA makes a contribution to one or more 501(c)(3) public charity organizations. Since its existence, the MVMFA has donated over $7,000 to local charity organizations! Click this link to check out PAST CHARITIES. Over the next couple of months, the MVMFA will be releasing information on organizations selected to receive contributions from the 2012 Music Fest.
The MVMFA is proud to announce the first ever Charity Rocks! Philanthropy Competition amongst bands playing at the 2011 Music Fest! Bands and local charity organizations will be joining forces to promote the charitable nature of the MVMF! Select bands will represent a charity of their choice, and will sell pre-sale tickets to help raise funds for the organization. The band who raises the most funds and awareness for their local charity will win $500 for use at Sound City Music.
If you are involved in a local charity organization that would be interested in getting involved in the event, check out the INTERESTED CHARITY ORGS page.
